Meet Our Team

Dr. Krystall Conder

Lead VETERINARIAN

Dr. Krystall Conder brings warmth, expertise, and a deep passion for gold standard animal care to her role as Lead Veterinarian at O’Connor Vet. With a strong focus on small animal surgery—especially orthopaedics—Krystall is also highly engaged in the management of osteoarthritis in senior cats and dogs. Dr. Krystall is undertaking further study through the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Surgeons to attain memberships in the field of Small Animal Surgery to add further depth to her well-rounded veterinary approach.

Krystall began her career in the veterinary industry in 2009 as a veterinary nurse. Driven to deepen her knowledge and impact, she moved from her hometown in rural Western Australia to Perth to pursue Animal Science at Murdoch University, graduating in 2013. She then continued her studies in Veterinary Science, building a solid foundation for her current clinical expertise.

She holds a PennHIP certification from Antech (USA), enabling her to provide advanced assessment and early diagnosis of hip dysplasia and osteoarthritis risk in dogs—supporting lifelong mobility and comfort for her patients.

Outside the clinic, Krystall is known for her approachable nature and genuine love for animals, making her a trusted partner in every pet’s health journey.  She enjoys Latin dancing (particularly salsa and bachata), drawing and calligraphy. Krystall also has gorgeous (and playfully cheeky) feline- Sammy. She adopted him during her studies and has been a fiercely loyal companion.

Dr. Styfany Foo

Veterinarian

Dr. Styfany has been with the practice since 2019, and takes great passion in taking care of not only her patients, but also their owners as well. She enjoys building rapport with clients and working together to achieve the best possible outcomes for their furbabies. Dr. Styfany has a keen interest in Feline Medicine but obviously loves all creatures! She has a ragdoll, a sphynx and a toddler so spare time is hard to come by.

Dr Claire Silvester

Dr. Claire Silvester

Veterinarian

Growing up in a small South West town surrounded by animals cemented Claire’s decision to pursue a career in Veterinary Science from a very young age. She made Fremantle her home when she moved here nearly 20 years ago to study Veterinary Science at Murdoch University.

She’s passionate about the well-being and care of her patients and believes every pet should be treated like family. She enjoys small animal medicine and surgery, and her love of learning means she’s always looking for new and better ways to care for her patients.

You’ll often find her at the beach with her two boys and sausage dog, Odi. At home, Claire enjoys sewing and crocheting (usually with her two cats nearby), heading outdoors, baking, and music—but her greatest love is dark chocolate!

Dr Josie Leong

Dr. Josie Leong

Veterinarian

Josie grew up in vibrant Singapore and made the move to Perth in 2020 to pursue her studies — and she’s loved it so much, she’s called it home ever since. Before making the leap to vet school, Josie completed a Diploma in Veterinary Technology back in Singapore and gained hands-on experience across the veterinary world. She’s worked in general practice, animal research centres, and even at Bird Paradise (Singapore’s renowned bird park) as a veterinary nurse.

Josie recently graduated from Murdoch University and is now excited to be part of the O’Connor Vet team. She has a keen interest in small animal and wildlife medicine and surgery, and is passionate about continuously learning and growing in her role. She’s a big believer in fear-free handling, always making sure every pet feels safe, calm, and cared for during their visit.

At home, Josie is happily ruled by her cheeky tuxedo cat, Komo, who always keeps things interesting. She likes to spend her time at the beach or scuba diving to unwind. She also loves baking, cooking, reading a good book, or simply relaxing with her partner and cat. And although she isn’t great at it, she likes kicking a footy with her partner.

Josie’s excited to be here and looks forward to meeting you and your furry family members — and helping you feel confident and supported in your pet’s care.

With over 17 years of veterinary nursing experience, Tracey brings a wealth of knowledge and compassion to every patient she cares for. Her professional journey has led her to Perth where she now enjoys the GP setting and slower pace of life in Fremantle.
